Description:
Bushy annual with thin, oval leaves. Slightly grey-green in colour. Natural hybrid between O. americanum and O. basilicum. Has a strong lemon-basil flavour.

Origin:
SE Asia to NE Africa. Dislikes replanting.

Culinary Uses:
Leaves are used with fish and chicken, and in herb vinegars.
